StillLink is a charting tool. Charts are for reference only, and the decisions are always yours. By using StillLink, you agree to the terms below.
01 — What StillLink is
StillLink is a Zi Wei Dou Shu charting app for Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android, designed and built by Jean. Basic charting is free. Once released, some advanced features will be offered through in-app purchase; plans and prices are shown inside the app.
02 — Where to download
Please download only from official channels: the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac, Google Play for Android, and for Mac, also the website (jeanui.com/stilllink). Files passed around by others may have been modified, so please do not install them.
03 — For reference only
Charts and information shown in StillLink are for reference and entertainment only, and are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice. Please do not make important decisions based on a chart alone; consult a qualified professional when needed.
04 — Accounts
Signing in is optional; you can create charts without an account. If you sign in, please keep your Apple or Google account secure. The same account shows the same data on every device, so deleting a chart on one device deletes it everywhere.
05 — Your data belongs to you
The charts, notes, photos and settings you create belong to you. We claim no rights to them and store them only to sync your devices. Please get consent before entering the name or birth details of another person.
06 — Keep backups
Without signing in, your data lives only on your device and we have no copy to recover. Signing in adds a cloud copy, but no sync service can promise to never be interrupted, so please keep your own backups of important data.
07 — Payments and refunds
Once released, payments are handled through in-app purchase: via the App Store on iPhone, iPad and Mac, charged to your Apple ID, and via Google Play on Android, charged to your Google account. We never see your payment details. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time in your Apple ID settings or in Google Play, and refunds follow Apple or Google refund policies.
08 — Updates and changes
New versions may add, change or remove features, and beta versions may be less stable. StillLink is an independent project maintained in good faith, but we cannot guarantee ongoing updates or that the cloud service will run forever. If the cloud service is ever discontinued, we will notify you in the app in advance and let you download your data.
09 — Open-source components
Chart calculation uses the open-source iztro library, and the Mac version downloaded from the website uses Sparkle for in-app updates. Other third-party components are used under their own licences; the full list is available under Open-Source Licences in the app.
10 — Acceptable use
Do not redistribute modified versions under the StillLink name, collect or publish the birth details of other people without their consent, interfere with or abuse the cloud service, or use StillLink for any unlawful purpose.
11 — Limitation of liability
StillLink is provided as is. We do our best to make it accurate and reliable, but cannot guarantee it is free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from the use of StillLink.
12 — Changes to these terms
We update the date above whenever these terms change; continuing to use StillLink means you accept the updated terms. For how personal data is handled, please see the Privacy Policy.
